🌿 Caring for Your Wooden Wick

Wooden wicks require a little extra love, but their beautiful crackle and warm glow make them worth it!

First Burn

Allow your candle to burn long enough for the melted wax to reach close to the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn. Never burn longer than 4 hours.

Keep It Trimmed

Before each burn, gently remove the charred portion of your wooden wick, leaving approximately 1/8 inch of wick above the wax. A wick trimmer or your fingertips (only when completely cool) works beautifully.

Lighting Your Wick

Hold your flame against the wooden wick for several seconds to allow it to catch. Wooden wicks may take a little longer to light than traditional cotton wicks.

Keep Your Wax Clean

Remove any loose charred wick pieces or debris from the wax before relighting.

Let It Cool

Always allow your candle to cool completely before trimming the wick, replacing the lid, or moving the container.

Your safety is always important to us!

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
• Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Keep the wax pool free of debris and wick trimmings.
• Never move or touch a candle while burning or while the wax is hot.
• Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
• Never use water to extinguish your candle.
• Always follow the safety instructions on your candle’s warning label.
